When Dave and his wife Lois sought a first floor master suite with mountain view living room that’s what we delivered. The retired couple who enjoy RV camping and the rural feel of White Salmon purchased a “spec” home that was situated on the site with no regard for the unobstructed Mt. Hood view. This is a typical scenario for many homes that are built of a plan meant for a developed neighborhood.

The solution was convert a window to a door that leads into an office area that then flows directly into a new living room with an incredible view of Mt. Hood. The living room attaches directly to the new master suite, so the couple can spend a majority of their time on the main floor. With their son and potential grand children visiting, the upstairs now accommodates guest who have a more private area, as do the owners.
